This pattern download includes written instructions to knit a cropped vest with a Double Cable (or Horeshoe Cable) on both the front and the back. With wide arm openings, a high neckline and a ribbed cropped waist – this vest is perfect to wear over dresses in Autumn and Spring or to team over a long sleeve top with a pair of high waisted jeans. 

Easy to Intermediate  – requires cable stitches and picking up previously cast off stitches & knitting in the round.

This pattern includes sizes UK ladies 6 – 24 (see sizing chart in image gallery)

• Yarn : Drops Nepal (165% Wool, 35% Alpaca) shown in shade 0506 (Dark Grey Mix)
• Tension (gauge) : 17 st & 24 rows = 10 cm in stockinette stitch on 5mm needles
• Needles: 5mm  ( US 8) needles, 4mm Circular needles* (US 6); 3 x stitch holders; cable needle
  
  *Circular needles are used for creating the neck and sleeve ribbing in a seamless manner. We suggest using 80 cm circular needles with the magic loop method. It is of course possible to use shorter circular needles or a set of double pointed needles instead.
